George is the founder of Atlas. He offers significant thought leadership and subject matter expertise with decades of European experience in real estate investment, asset management and credit risk analysis. Prior to founding Atlas, George was Head of Greece for Värde Partners, a global alternative investment manager. He has also held senior roles in London with Värde Partners and Lehman Brothers (Real Estate Private Equity), asset managing and successfully exiting equity and debt positions in excess of EUR4 billion across Europe. As Principal of Castor REA, George led specialist advisory projects on behalf of Blackrock and PIMCO to assess the real estate loan positions of the systemic banks in Greece and Cyprus. George holds an MBA (with Distinction) from London Business School, MSc in Economics & Finance from the University of York and is MRICS-qualified.
As Head of Asset Management, Vasileios has overall responsibility for the performance of all assets under management, including development projects. Vasileios is a civil engineer with over 15 years of experience in real estate development, valuation, and asset management. He has worked with the largest financial institutions in Greece and founded a development company specializing in residential projects. Vasileios holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Democritus University of Thrace. He is a member of several professional organizations including the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE), the Hellenic Society of Civil Engineers, the Hellenic Society of Appraisers (SEKE), the Hellenic Institute of Evaluation (ELIE) and the Institute of Zero Energy Buildings (INZEB). Vasileios is also a Certified Real Estate Appraiser Recognized European Valuer – TEGoVA and Certified DGNB Auditor by the German Sustainable Building Council.
Sofia is a qualified engineer with experience in real estate consultancy, asset management and valuations. Prior to joining Atlas, Sofia was part of the Asset Management team (REO) of National Bank of Greece (NBG), focusing on portfolio management and reporting, leasing management, and taking charge of the assets’ maturation process. Sofia holds a BSc in Rural and Surveyor Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and an MSc in International Real Estate and Planning from University College of London (UCL). She is also a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE).
Tang Leng is responsible for portfolio management and operations at Atlas. Tang Leng brings extensive experience in institutional fund management and portfolio optimisation through pan-European roles with Janus Henderson, Hammerson, HSBC, and Cushman & Wakefield.
Tang Leng began her career in the UK with Colliers. She graduated from Reading University with a BSc (Honours) in Land Management, has the Investment Management Certificate and is a qualified Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
As Financial Controller, Melina has overall responsibility for the financial and accounting functions of Atlas and its managed entities. With over a decade of experience across a range of finance roles, Melina is highly experienced in all aspects of Greek accounting, financial and cash management. Melina holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Piraeus, and an MSc in Accounting & Finance from Athens University of Economics and Business.
Loukia is Head of Legal at Atlas and is responsible for all legal matters regarding property acquisitions, disposals, financing, corporate governance, and strategic planning. Loukia has extensive experience in real estate, civil and corporate law, having served as legal counsel and corporate secretary in REICS and coordinator of REO sales at the National Bank of Greece. Loukia is also well versed in e-auction proceedings and enforcement law.
Loukia has been a member of Athens Bar for over ten years and holds a LLB degree from the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
Vasiliki is responsible for the day-to-day management accounting, cash management, payments and financial reporting for all the client entities. Prior to Atlas, Vasiliki held similar roles for two Greek multinational companies. Vasiliki holds a BSc in Economics and an MBA from the University of Piraeus.
